The flowers are bright yellow with floating leaves that are large and ovate and either float on the water or stand out of the water.The Nuphar lutea has a thick creeping rhizome. Also suitable for aquaruims. Once this plant is submerged, it takes a different form looking like lettuce leaves. Full sun or Part shade.
